Photonic crystal fibres

A photonic crystal fibre (PCF) is a new type of optical waveguide characterized by unique optical properties. Due to the plethora of various applications in laser physics and quantum optics, PCFs are currently an interesting field of study. Especially, we filled PCFs with liquids and gases and measure the absorption spectra of such system. We also try to predict some behaviours of such fibres thanks to FEM (Finite Element Method) calculations  in Comsol Multiphysics.
