Interactions in spinor condensates: from cold atoms to neutron stars

AbstraktSeminarium: 

I will present our latest results on the thermodynamics of spin-1 polar ferromagnetic Bose-Einstein Condensates. I will show evidence of the observation of 2-photon Feshbach resonances, that significantly affect the critical temperatures in our experiments. In the second part of the talk I will present our recent work aim at unveiling the Andreev-Bashkin effect in superfluid mixtures.
