NV color centers in diamonds are two level systems that exhibit a specific hole burning phenomena in fluorescence when subjected to microwave and optical fields. In my talk new mathematical approach to the description of the interaction of a spin system (NV color center) will be presented. As the problem of application of bichromatic microwave is mathematically highly nonlinear the solution needs a decomposition into harmonic series. The functional generating the solution up to a given harmonic number will be presented and applied to characterize a power broadening of the spectral hole burnt in the MW resonance lineshape. Limiting cases of strong/week coupling and small/big detunig and limits of the formalism will be discussed.
