Quantum state tomography in rubidium vapors
Previous theoretical and experimental studies on the quantum properties of hot atomic vapors, specifically rubidium vapor, have shown the possibility of controlled generation of specific quantum states (quantum state engineering) and their successive experimental observation (quantum state tomography). The seminar will cover theoretical and experimental methods developed for reconstruction of the full density matrix describing the state of atoms, regardless of the type of this state and methods of its generation.
Attendance at the seminar is possible in both traditional and online formats. The seminar takes place at 10:15 room A-2-01 (WFAIS UJ) and will be stremmed with MS Teams. If you are interested in participation, please contact the seminar coordinator, dr Szymon Pustelny (szymon.pustelny@uj.edu.pl).
