Zero and Ultra-low Field Nuclear Magnetic Resonance in Chemical and Biochemical Analysis
Zero and ultra-low field nuclear magnetic resonance (ZULF NMR) is a novel, powerful, portable, and cost-effective form of NMR that enables high-precision chemical analysis based on nuclear spin-spin interactions by obtaining unique, well-resolved, and information-rich J-spectra. In this seminar, I will present our recent studies on the detection of organophosphorus compounds -a wide and diverse class of chemicals playing a crucial role in living organisms- and urea -a key metabolite in protein catabolism- using ZULF NMR.
