AbstraktSeminarium: 

Superconducting circuits with Josephson junction based qubits has emerged as a leading platform in the slowly maturing field of quantum computation. In the seminar I will introduce, in an equation-free manner, the theory behind superconducting quantum computers, show examples of experimental implementations and give a short introduction to quantum error correction.
