Investigations of the electronic structure of selected elements in terms of applications in optical clocks

The scientific aim of talk will be presentation of the results of investigation the electronic structure of selected elements: chromium, manganese and thorium, in terms of their applications in optical atomic and nuclear clocks. Research work was carried out at the Poznań University of Technology and at PTB Braunschweig, Germany.
