Hybrid micro-integration of opto-electronic & photonic modules for QT applications

Progress in Quantum Optics achieved within the last decades has led to a new discipline, quantum engineering, which turns quantum physical concepts into physical solutions for real world applications. I will give an overview about the R&D carried out at FBH on photonic components and subsystems for optical atomic clocks, atom-interferometry-based inertial navigation and earth observation, and quantum information applications. I will specifically focus on R&D for space missions.
