Research with nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond - what's happening in the diamond lab

Nowadays, nitrogen-vacancy (NV) color centers in diamond are being researched very actively by many scientific groups around the world. NV color centers found practical use as magnetic, electric, and temperature sensors, and are also becoming a crucial part of quantum computing. In this seminar, I'll provide an introduction into these color centers and overview of the ongoing research in the diamond lab at the Department of Photonics.
