Dual-comb spectroscopy and its applications to laser induced plasmas
Dual-comb spectroscopy (DCS) has become a powerful spectroscopic technique. Its demonstrations cover a large area of the visible and invisible electromagnetic spectrum: from THz frequencies to the ultraviolet. In addition, it made us enable to perform high-resolution and time-resolved experiments. In recent years the results of the DSC application on laser induced plasmas were reported. It became a stimulating information for our laser induced plasma group.
I will present fundamentals of DCS technique: methods of dual frequency comb generation and typical experimental realizations. Next, I will describe literature results in the DSC applications to laser induced plasmas and our hopes related to theseapplications.
