Frequency comb spectroscopy and its applications to plasma diagnostics
Frequency comb spectroscopy became a very promising technique for examination of gases and plasmas. Some new spectroscopy methods combining frequency comb with, for example, dispersive spectroscopy, Fourier-transform spectroscopy and cavity-enhanced spectroscopy, have been developed in recent years. The advantages of these methods are broad bandwidth and extremely high spectral resolution.
During my presentation I will present a brief review of spectroscopy techniques with a single frequency comb. I will highlight its possible applications to plasma diagnostics.
