New in optical magnetometry: pulsed SERF magnetometers (Online Seminar)
During this seminar I would like to present a recently developed concept of the pulsed SERF magnetometers. After a brief introduction of the new concept, I will talk about pulsed co-magnetometer in the self-compensating regime, which is currently developed at the Princeton University. I had a chance to participate in work on this setup during my visit to prof. Romalisis Group in fall 2019. The seminar will cover the aspects of pulsed co-magnetometer construction, a new type of the spectroscopic cell used at this system, and the process of investigation key sources of the long-term instability in such a system. Also, I will present the results of numerical simulations of the pulsed co-magnetometer which I performed during my visit to Princeton.
If you are interested in participation please, contact coordinator, dr Szymon Pustelny in advance (szymon.pustelny@uj.edu.pl)
